LARKANA: March 23, 2015. (Nazir Siyal) Chandka Medical College (CMC) Children Hospital in a theme "Our Children are Our Future" organized annual Pediatric conference 2015 here on Monday. Former Professor of CMC and founder of Child health Care Institution Noor Ahmeed Channa inaugurated Annual Pediatric Conference 2015 in a collaboration with Social Association for evolving Child and Pakistan Pediatric Association conducted scientific sessions with students, Parents and civil society to held counselling and awareness about the nutrition, vaccination and other issues of children sufferings. On the occasion, Professors and Pediatricians shared their experiences and highlighted about the proper counseling of child and mother during care health hazards. Head of the Pediatric Department Professor Dr. Saifullah Jamro foresighted that scientific methodology of pre and post mother-care activities are concerned with counselling for bring up of children health. He said the message should be spread to all among the mothers to emphasize on proper breast feeding, nutrition and care of children despite of medicines. In this connection we are acclaimed the first one hospital for counselling to develop such a standard, because the Trend have been changed for health issues. Professor Jamro stressed that any nation could be change to develop and work on health care methods rather than prescribe medicines, so that nation could be an ideal society until the awareness among the mothers how to feed and develop their children he told. In this regard, the local resources will be utilized for proper counselling session and use of natural methodologies in the treatment and health care. He said this conference will prove a visionary and result oriented regarding the pediatric health delivery of services. CMC former Professor Noor Ahmed Channa and head of the pediatric department, who was the chief guest on the occasion, has expressed concern over the non availability of Intensive Care Unit (ICU) facilities in Pediatric Surgery Unit of CMC Children Hospital Larkana, adding that its a key unit in the surgical environment, must be established since the objectives. He also suggested that Pediatric conference should help to reduce the rate of diseases and mortality in CMC hospital by aware of society and attendants. He also said lack of knowledge could lead to the complications of newborn babies, so that the counselling is the main objectives of this annual conference he said. During the Annual Conference in the interactive sessions several pediatricians share their views and presentations including Vaccination and Normal Nutrition requirement of Mother and child by Dr. Sobia, Romana Sangi and others.
