(Nazir Siyal) The 36th death anniversary of the founder Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and former Prime Minister Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was observed with great reverence and respect here at Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto and other parts of country on Saturday. The local leaders of Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) and PPP (Shaheed Bhutto) arranged separate programs to pay homage to great leader on his rendered sacrifice for downtrodden people and country. PPP Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari along with Bakhtawar Bhutto and hundreds of party workers and leaders visited the mazar of Shaheed Zulifqar Ali Bhutto and paid rich tribute to the legend leader and founder PPP Zuflikar Ali Bhutto on his 36th death anniversary. The scheduled public meeting was to be held outside the premise of Mausoleum, which already cancelled due to bad weather and heavy downpours at Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto. President PPP Larkana division Agha Siraj Durani on 3rd April night announced to revoke the scheduled public gathering and PPP workers and followers of three divisions Larkana, Nawabshah, Sukkur and Dadu district were asked to participate at Garhi Khuda Bux and Naudero House, rest of party workers and leaders will observe the event at their respective areas and provinces. Pakistan People’s Party SB did not halt the schedule of public gathering and held its annual public rally at same venue, while mean stream political Party (PPP) cancelled its announced public gathering and decided to observe the activities inside the Naudero House, it was feared felt by stalwarts of PPP that unavailability of Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari may cause the less participation of workers and Bhutto followers, rain fall was mere a pretext to cancel the public rally, sources informed that popularity of PPP in Sindh and other parts of country had comedown owing to public related issues. The caravans of three divisions and one district of Hyderabad division Dadu district reached at Mazar and attended Qura’an Khawani and Fateha Khawani for the departed soul of Z.A. Bhutto, followed by Lunger distribution among the people and workers at the ancestral graveyard of Bhutto family. PPP Co Chairman Asif Ali Zardari accompanied by his daughter Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari and other party leader among PPP MNA, MPAs, Senators and central party leaders Opposition Leader Syed Khurshed A Shah, Raza Rabbani, Aitzad Hassan, Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Qamar Zaman Kaira, Rehman Malik, Senior Minister for education Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, Speaker Sindh Assembly Agha Siraj Durani, MNA Faryal Talpur, information minister Sharjeel Memon and others visited the graves of shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto and other Bhutto family members placed floral wreaths and offered fateha on the occasion. Meanwhile, the leaders and workers of PPP (Shaheed Bhutto) led by PPP-SB Chairperson Ghinwa Bhutto visited Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto offered Fateha and place floral wreaths on the grave of Shaheed Zulfiquar Ali Bhutto, Benazir Bhutto, Mir Murtaza Bhutto, Shahnawaz Bhutto and offered Fateha. Later, Chairperson of PPP (Shaheed Bhutto) Ghinwa Bhutto and other central leaders of PPP Shaheed Bhutto also addressed the public gathering before the graves of Bhutto family at Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto. While Former Senator and close aide to Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, Dr Safdar Ali Abbasi along with his brother, former MPA Haji Munwar Ali Abbasi his son Moazam Ali Abbasi and other supporters visited the Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto, placed floral wreaths and offered fateha. Fool proof security arrangements were made at Garhi Khuda Bux and Naudero, more than 6952 Police cops, 300 Rangers Personals, 300 commandos, 300 Women Police and among 19 SSPs and 2 DIG rank officers performed their services to maintain the law and order situation, snap checking were reportedly carried out at different roads leading to Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto and Naudero house, bomb disposal squad, metal detectors, walk through gates, close circuit cameras and other security equipment installed to face any untoward situation.Hundreds welcome camps had been set up at Naudero, Ratodero, Larkana roads leading to Garhi Khuda Bux.
