Muslim woman who ran over her car killing 3 Christian and injuring 11 gets bail extension

Lahore: April 15, 2015. (PCP) Today on April 15, 2015 CLAAS’ lawyer Mr. Tahir Bashir moved his power of attorney in the court of Mr. Naveed Iqbal Additional Sessions Judge Lahore for contesting the pre-arrest bail of Maryam Safdar which is pending for argument on April 18, 2015. According to the information after the incident of Youhanabad Church attacks, angry Christian’s mob protested and blocked the roads and during their protest, a Muslim lady named Maryam Safdar resident of Chauburji Park, Lahore ran out her vehicle which killed three protestors named Amir Hameed aged 15, Danish Shahbaz and Tanvir by the hit and more than five are serious injured. After that she submitted her written statement to the police that she ran out her vehicle when listened the crowd to burn her alive. Maryam Safdar, in her statement to investigation police, said that the crowd snatched 8 kart jewelry, two expensive mobiles and Rs33, 000 rupees and later tortured her. She said that she went to Metro bus track to save her live but he was forced to go back.In an attempt to get out of the crowd, she ran over 3 people who were initially injured but expired later on. On March 16, 2015 case FIR No.394/15, offence under section 324/337G was registered at Nishar Colony police station, Lahore against Maryam Safdar on the complaint of Hameed Masih, his son Amir aged about 15 years was killed by the hit of Maryam Safdar’s vehicle. After the registration of FIR Maryam Safdar moved her pre-arrest bail which is pending and contested by CLAAS. Further Hameed Masih along with Mr. Tahir Bashir Advocate and legal advisor CLAAS went to appear before the police to join the investigation.
