Islamabad: April 20, 2015. (PCP) Islamabad Police picked one Christian named Farman Masih son of Hanif Masih resident of Essa Nagri, I-9 Islamabad on suspicion of theft and took him to Police Station I-9 Islamabad for investigation on April 18, 2015.
The investigation officer Assistant Sub-Inspector police Mohammad Shahid Munir put Farman Masih on third degree torture to accept theft crime in I-9 Police Station along with other police constable on which he became unconscious.
Police handcuffed Farman Masih and took him to one wood stall in Pathan Basti where theft took place and tortured him on spot to accept crime of theft which Farman Masih continuously denied. On which police party headed by ASI Shahid Munir beaten him up to such extent that Farman Masih died on spot.
To hide murder of Farman Masih, Police party threw his dead body in water of Nala Laie, a rainy season canal passing through twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
Police spread the news that Farman Masih have jumped in water of Nala Laie and died; on which the family members of Farman Masih and community leaders of Christian Colony Essa Nagri reached on spot but not found dead body.
After hours of struggle when dead body was found of Farman Masih, the Christian leaders and family members witnessed that Farman Masih was handcuffed and marks of torture on his body on which they went to I-9 Police Station to register a complain but police threatened them and forced them to leave Police Station.
The family members of Farman Masih along with other residents staged protest with dead body of Farman Masih on which police agreed to register complain of brother of Farman Masih.
The dead body of Farman Masih was taken to PIMS hospital where postmortem was conducted and First information report was lodged under Section 302/34 PPC in Police Station I-9 Islamabad against police officers.
Fr. Sarfraz Simon who is Parish Priest of Catholic Church Satellite Town Rawalpindi has urged Christians of Islamabad and Rawalpindi to stay calm and to avoid any protest.
Up till filing of this report police have not arrested any accused police officer of police constable charged under murder of Farman Masih accused in FIR.
Dr. Nazir S Bhatti, President of Pakistan Christian Congress PCC have strongly condemned murder of Farman Masih by police torture and demanded immediate arrests of killer police team.

Nisar Ali, Federal Interior Minister of government of Pakistan and directly responsible for law and law and order situation in Islamabad capital city of Pakistan very famous to react but silent of murder of Farman Ali because he is a Christian expresses sub-standard policies of government” said Nazir Bhatti
