Islamabad: May 8, 2015. (PCP) Senator Mushahid Hussain Sayed has offered condolences to victims' families after a fatal helicopter crash in Naltar area of Gilgit, in which the envoys of Norway and Philippines along with wives of Ambassadors of Malaysia and Indonesia were killed, while the envoys of Poland and Holland were injured.
"The tragic death of diplomats resident in Pakistan is a cause of immense sadness," Senator Mushahid said in a statement issued, just after the news of the tragic incident spread like wildfire across the globe. He said the 'entire Pakistani nation is in a state of mourning over this irreparable loss', adding many of these diplomats were his personal friends.
He said that Pakistan will never forget the contributions of the late ambassadors in the field of diplomacy to bring people of their respective countries closer to Pakistani people and their friendship for Pakistan.
