(PCP) Ch Pervaiz Elahi has said the time had come to get rid of incompetent and selfish leaders like Sharifs and their cronies who were throwing the nation in dark ages. He was addressing a crowded corner meeting the other day at residence of Ex MPA Arif Gondal, Reminding his chief minister ship era of five years, he said PMLQ allocated development funds amounting to Rs 25,000,000,000 (25 arabs) made record development in the history of this district. District and Judicial Complex was raised, Jinnah Public School was constructed, Jinnah Stadium was built, 260 bedded hospital projects were approved and with special grant, its construction was started. In the meantime, term of their government ended and the next governments PPP and PMLN left the project halfway. New farm to market roads were constructed to facilitate farmers for transportation of agriculture produce and highways were upgraded to two ways by increasing their width for comfortable driving. What the present government and the previous PPP governments have done for people in this district after PMLQ Government? He asked the audience. Reply from audience was big no. Introducing PMLQ candidate, he said Hamza Nasir was young and well educated with clean slate. He belongs to a family who served this district for two generations. He said by all standards he was the best among the candidates for NA 108 seat in by election. He urged people to support and vote in favor of their candidate if they really wanted better future of the district. Draw comparison of eras of PMLQ and PPP/ PMLN and decide Do your choice of candidate at the time for casting vote, he asserted. He also addressed public gathering at Phalia, Chillianwala, and few other localities in the district and urged people to discard candidates of PMLN and PPP and back PMLQ candidate. Earlier on his arrival he was accorded warm welcome at King Road where party workers held a show of horse dancing. There after horse riders in formation led his convoy to Mandi Bahauddin. In the mean while it is learnt through reliable source that PTI chief Imran Khan, PMLN Central leader Hamza Shahbaz and Jamaat Islami Chief Siraj ul Haq would address public gatherings on June 5. Arrangements for the gatherings and reception of big guns are being made by their respective parties. It is further learnt that PPP Punjab President Mian Mazoor Watoo would address a public meeting Sunday evening at Phalia. He would woo voters support in favor of his party candidate Asif Bhagat.
