Rape case of Christian Girl: 4 Muslim will be executed today in District Jail Faisalabad, Bishop of Faisalabad attempted reconciliation but SC denied compromise.

According to the First Information report, Umer Hayyat, Mubarik Ali, Mohammad Ashrif and Shahzad Ali (Gang) raped a Christian girl (S) the daughter of their friends named as Bashir Masih, on gunpoint. The case was registered offence under section 10/7/79 HO (Islamic Law) and trial was conduct Anti Terrorist Court. On 18 Dec. 1999 court awarded with death penalty to afore said culprits. Appeals were rejected from High Court and Supreme Court. After wards mercy appeal was also rejected fro President of Pakistan. Black warrants (Death warrants) were issued for execution on 19th April 2005. 1st September 2005 and 21 December 2005 but due to reconciliation with complainant they were not executed. They were finally reconciled. Bishop of Faisalabad played a main role for reconciliation but Supreme Court passed remarks that there is not space of compromise in such kind of cases. They will be hanged till death tomorrow (13th June 2006) early in the morning at about 044:30 a.m. Today their relatives have been called for last meeting with them.
