Karachi: August 3, 2015. (PCP) In a press note issued here today from Central Secretariat of Pakistan Christian Congress PCC said that Pakistan Government cannot take any legal action against MQM Chief Altaf Hussain nor can send any legal reference to UK when he invites India in speeches for intervention because Liaquat-Nehru Pact of 1950 signed in Delhi among Pakistani Premier Khan Liaquat Ali Khan and Indian Prime Minister Pundit Jawaharlal Nehru guaranteed rights of minorities and immigrants from India to Pakistan after division of sub-continent and formation of Pakistan in 1947. “If Altaf Hussain who is leader of immigrants from India claims that justice is not ensured by Pakistan government with Mohajars (Immigrants from India) he can invite attention of India under Liaquat-Nehru Pact and it not makes him traitor” said Dr. Nazir S Bhatti, President of Pakistan Christian Congress PCC in a statement. Dr. Nazir S Bhatti said that under same act Pakistan government and leaders of Pakistani Muslim political parties express support for Kashmiri Muslims and Muslims living in Indian Kashmir invite attention of Pakistan but Indian government has never called traitors to Kashmiri Muslim leaders. “Pakistan have to declare Liaquat-Nehru Pact null and void before sending any legal reference against Altaf Hussain but it is not possible because it is under International Treaty Act” added Nazir Bhatti Meanwhile in another statement, Dr. Nazir S Bhatti, President of Pakistan Christian Congress PCC commenting on statement of Ch. Nisar Ali, Interior Minister of government of Pakistan that legal reference will be sent to government of United Kingdom against speech of MQM Chief Altaf Hussain said that doubt that Law Ministry of Pakistan will be able to prepare such reference while Pakistan stand signatory of an International treaty with India which was signed by Pakistani Prime Minister Khan Liaquat Ali Khan and Indian Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru in 1950 which is known as “Liaquat-Nehru Pact” Dr. Nazir Bhatti said that due to “Liaquat-Nehru Pact of 1950” Government of Pakistan remained reluctant to raise issue in UNO or any other International forum of Prime Minister of India Narandra Moodi speech in Dhaka University in which he openly admitted support of Indian army to Mukti-Bahni to wage war against Pakistan Army to form Bangladesh which was East Pakistan till 1971. The protests and resolutions in Parliament against Indian Prime Minister on his speech in Dhaka University was action of Nawaz Sharif administration to satisfy Pakistani public sentiments who never forget break up of two parts of Pakistan which were West Pakistan and East Pakistan created as Pakistan in 1947 after division of Indian sub-continent. “The statement of Altaf Hussain cannot be challenged at any International Forum nor it can be referred as legal reference to Great Britain for any action against Altaf Hussain because “Liaquat-Nehru Pact of 1950” provides him legal protection to invite Indian help of which Pakistan government is a signatory” added Nazir Bhatti “Liaquat-Nehru Pact” was signed by Prime Ministers of respective state in which it was guaranteed that rights of religious minorities and immigrants from India to Pakistan will be fully protected by both countries and if any serious violation occurs the right of interference is reserved. That is why India started its interference in East Pakistan when Hindus of East Pakistan invited Indian support on violation of their rights and safety of their lives. Pakistan government must note that “Immigrants from India” are fully protected under Liaquat-Nehru Pact and Altaf Hussain is leader of millions of Pakistani Muslims who are “Immigrants from India” Dr. Nazir S Bhatti demanded government of Pakistan to make public true and signed document of “Liaquat-Nehru Pact of 1950” that people of Pakistan may note importance of speech of MQM Chief Altaf Hussain which is under severe criticism by media and illiterate politicians.
