Islamabad: August 31, 2015. (PCP) According to an independent survey conduct by a Christian association headed by Mr. Basharat Yaqoob, the alarming figures are presented to Pakistan Christian Post; There are different figures of Christian population in Pakistan: In the said survey, the total population of Christians in Pakistan is submitted as 10.5 million while Pakistan Christian Congress PCC claims it to be 20 million. The report presents as preamble that Christians are living without basic facilities in Pakistan and facing lot of problems ,for example in education, health, homes, jobs, business, unjustified laws for Christians. The survey report that: Christian Community in Pakistan 10.5 Million; Education 4%, Jobless 68%, Home Less 81%, Labor man 39%, Very Poor Families 67%, Christian woman’s/Girls working as servant 29% and Christian Sanitary Workers in Pakistan 65%. The report adds that everyone Christian political leader /Religious leaders not interested to conduct the survey to provide the basic facilities and provide the solutions to Christian community as per living standard of other minorities. Our religious leaders said that our responsibility is only one just pray for community and not thinking for problems and solution for them, and same condition of our political leaders. Where we go for appeals to provide us basic facilities? What is the solution for our better life and future in Pakistan? EDUCATION. Our Christian mission schools are collapse no education stranded is maintaining in these schools and education is not in reach of poor Christian families in Mission schools mostly Christian families are interested to admission for children in other than mission schools. Due to very heavy fee, education stranded low, very rough behavior with community, not professional teachers. Jobless. Our 68% Christian community in Pakistan is jobless, and in this condition just one label job is available only for Christians is Sanitary Workers/Sweepers and majority Christian community is working as and sweepers in Pakistan with very low monthly salary in which not able to proper support his families. And other business is for Christian to sale an illegal Liquor local stranded and many families are doing business this type to support his families. And not proper technical institutes for Christians for technical trainings for better future and life. Health. Majority of Christian community is living without basic health facilities and awareness and not afforded to proper checkup the families for health point of view and at the last stage of any diseases they diagnose in this stage in which treatment is not possible for them and not proper awareness in Christian families for better health. Homeless. Many housing societies are launched in Pakistan but no housing societies for Christians in Pakistan, many Christian families are living in camps and in temporary huts near sewerage lines in federal capital in Pakistan and living stranded in areas are very low. Media. No electronic, media, no proper newspapers, no plate form for Christian community to high light the issues on national and international basis to solve the issue and for basic facilities for Christian community. Solution: To solve all issues and problems of Christian community in Pakistan then Christian community to join hands on one platform and with unity and self-support und guideline of national and international support to provide best education, heath, technical institutes, housing societies, TV Channels, Media coverage, and everything is possible with unity to join on one Platform.
