He said that the It is the place develop your spirituality to be close to Jesus Christ. Secondly it is the place of learning to make use of all the facilities to learn more and more. Thirdly it is the place to do charity through their words and actions to be helpful to one another.
He said that in our surrounding everyone likes to do his own will but in the seminary, “you have to follow what the rector says and if it is done then you will be obedient to your bishop who works in loyalty to the Holy Father.
Fr. Inayat Bernard, rector of St. Mary’s Seminary informed that Fr. Samson Dilawar, Fr. Samuel George, Fr. Jamil Albert OFM, Sr. Rukhsana, O.P., Sr. Rebecca James FSP, Sr. Magdaline Ishaq FSP, Sr. Musadas Catherine FC, Mr. Matloob Alam (for the college boys), Mr. Patras, Mr. Yousaf Rehmat Yusafi and catechist Ilyas Mehnga put their efforts together for the integral formation of 37 diocesan and 45 Capuchin students in first, second and the third year.
He continued that there are a good number of students who are keen to learn many things and try to express themselves in different academic and extracurricular activities This year we have 141 class days in this scholastic year from 2nd September, 2015 to 31st of May 2016.
He made a special request that in this situation the staff members and the students are not to absent from the class, “so that we can really benefit completely from the given time for the academic formation of our future priests and religious”.
