Karachi: September 13, 2015. (PCP) Pakistan Christian Congress PCC have demanded immediate release of Chairman Human Liberation Commission Pakistan and Maseeha Millat Party MMP and other Christian arrested after twin suicide bombing on St. John’s Church and Christ Church Youhanabad in Lahore on March 15, 20015. More than 15 Christian worshipers and 80 injured in twin suicide bombing on Churches in Youhanabad but instead of arresting collaborators of suicide bombers and to facilitators, police arrested Aslam Pervaiz Sahotra and hundreds of other Christian residents of the locality. Dr. Nazir S Bhatti, President of Pakistan Christian Congress PCC expressed his concern on treatment of jail authorities on failing to provide medical assistant to Aslam Pervaiz Sohtra and mistreatment with other jailed Christians in this case by authorities. “The Joint Investigation Team JIT formed to investigate lynching of two Muslims in backlash of twin suicide bombing by angry mob only recorded statements of those who wanted to implicate Christian leaders and Christian activists to safe real culprits. The Christians have doubts on proceedings of JTI and to implicate Aslam Pervaiz Sahotra and other in terrorism charges” said Nazir Bhatti PCC Chief also flayed local Christian leadership of Lahore who are silent on arrest of MMP Chairman Aslam Pervaiz Sohtra who stood in first line in every campaign and rally with them on any issue because when he is in jail then family of Mr. Sohtra is left alone to voice for his release. Dr. Nazir Bhatti urged Chief Minister of Punjab Mian Nawaz Sharif to form JIT comprising of ISI, MI, IB and Police which may conduct free and fair enquiry that Aslam Pervaiz Sohtra and other innocent Christian in jail me be released. Nazir Bhatti said that if justice is not ensured towards Aslam Pervaiz Sohtra and other arrested Christians then PCC will raise this issue on International forums that human rights and constitutional rights of them may not be violated.
