Christians from South Asian decent decide to support Conservatives in elections

Toronto: October 8, 2015. (PCP) In a joint statement here today, the religious leaders, social and human right activist of Canadian Christians from South Asian origin announced their full support to candidates of Conservative Party in forthcoming elections. Pastor. Alexander David, Pastor James Like, Mr. John Gill (CCA), Pastor. Peter Paul, Bp. Edwin Riaz, Mr.Peter Bhatti (ICV), Pastor. Salim Arthur, Pastor. Carol Patrick, Mr. Obaid Chaudry (UTCC), Pastor. Basharat David, Pastor. Rashid Gill, Mr.Asher Emmanuel (Hopat), Pastor. Javed Akhtar, Pastor. Benjamin Masih, Mr.Sajid Bhatti (GSM), Pastor. Robin Wasti, Pastor. Sarwar Din, Mr. Javed Dean (Radio DY), Pastor. Ehsan Walter, Pastor. Raj Dass, Mrs. Romila Mallo (MCG), Pastor. Parkash Masih, Pastor. Samuel Gori, Dr. Zari Gill (Red Shawl), Pastor. Nazim Wilson and Pastor. Shahid Kamal have signed joint statement of support and urged to vote for Conservative Party. The statement reads as “We, the Christians of South-Asian descent, together at one platform, unanimously have decided to extend our full support to the Conservative Party in the forthcoming federal elections of Canada. We declare that we support the steps taken by the government in enhancing the economic affairs and improving social standards of Canada” We appreciate policies for improvements in tax rebate for families, children benefits, and taking steps to fight unemployment. We appreciate that it was alone Conservative party who stood against social evils and courageously took every step to ban public use of marijuana and support continuing ban on prostitution. Taking concrete steps for prioritizing safety and security of Canadian citizens. Promoting global religious freedom by establishing Office of the Religious Freedom. Taking care of the religious persecuted (irrespective of religion); and improving policies for disturbed and insecure men and women. Becoming front line peacemakers in the world, and holding a clear stance for standing against terrorist organizations like AL-QAIDA and stopping the devilish motives and actions of terrorists like ISIS and DAESH. Furthermore, leaders said that we certify that members of our community will extend their support the Conservatives through volunteering their respective Conservative candidates; provide every possible cooperation at all levels at Advance Poll Oct. 9-12; and on Oct. 19, vote only for Conservative candidates.
