PCC condemn Kashmiri separatist leader’s statement on evangelism of other religion

Srinagar: October 18, 2015. (PCP) Dr. Nazir S Bhatti, President of Pakistan Christian Congress PCC warned UNO, International Forums and Human Right activists on supporting Kashmiri separatist after hoisting flags of ISIS and Islamic Republic of Pakistan in their rallies against India. “The so-called Kashmiri independence leaders first forced Hindu Pundits to flee from Kashmir valley and now they are threatening evangelism of Christianity and other religions in valley which indicates formation of another terror state like ISIS in region” said Nazir Bhatti PCC Chief was commenting on a recent statement of Kashmiri separatist or terrorist leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq published in “Rising Kashmir” in which he threatens to block a conference of Ahmadiyyia community in Kashmir valley. The Kashmiri leaders have been opposing Christian evangelism in valley like this Ahmadiyyia conference in pat also. Dr. Nazir Bhatti have appealed to all human right activists to condemn statement of Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and withdraw their support to such elements who struggling to form such territories which fear rule of law, justice and religious freedom. Speaking to a Friday congregation, Kashmiri separatist leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq who is the chairman of the Hurriyat Conference and chief of Muttihda Majlis-e-Amal Ameer said the ‘Ahmadis won’t be allowed to spread tentacles in Kashmir’. Mirwaiz warned people to beware of the expansionist plan of the Ahmadis in Kashmir and foil their nefarious designs. “Earlier, Christian Missionaries were trying to spread their tentacles in Kashmir by offering monetary benefits and now it was Ahmadis who want to do the same.”
