CHANGA MANGA: October 24, 2015. (PCP) A Christian man namely Sajid Masih's life in danger after his Christian fiancée was abducted and forcibly converted to Islam and given in marriage with a Muslim man namely Allah Rakha. Sajid Masih was got engaged with a Christian woman namely Nabila Bibi for one year ago. Sajid has made plan and arrangements to get solemnized marriage in coming next month of November, 2015 but his fiancée Nabila Bibi was abducted by a Muslim man Allah Rakha. Sajid and father of his fiancée namely Bashir Masih, his cousins Antzar Masih and Qaisar Masih along with other family members searched her and later submitted a complaint against unknown person at Changa Manga Police Station which was not entertained until now. On 16 October, 2015, some men in plain clothes came to Bashir Masih home and informed and warned him that her daughter converted to Islam and got married with a Muslim man Allaha Rakha and they gave some documents of her daughter's conversion to Islam and marriage certificates as a proof. Yesterday 22 October, 2015, Sajid Masih along with his cousins Antzar Masih and Qaisar Masih and father of his fiancée went to the given home address of Muslim man. When they met with Allah Rakha and with other fifteen to twenty men, they asked them that they wanted to meet with Nabila Bibi. They flatly refused and warned that she is now Muslim and threatened them with dire consequences if they would not leave their village and try to come again but they insisted to meet her, then the Muslims men captured them and made them hostage in a Haveli. The whole night they remained hostage and early in the morning they got chance to flee from the Haveli. Today again some Muslim men came at home of Bashir Masih and asked where Sajid Masih is residing and Masih told them that he was living at Village Kot Nanak Singh Wala, Changa Manga, then those men went to look for Sajid at his home. Now he is living in hiding. Sajid came to Sardar Mushtaq Gill, Human Rights Defender and told the whole tragedy and requested for legal assistance. In such issues, the victim’s family usually registers case FIR for abduction or rape with the local police station. The rapist, on behalf of the victim girl, registers a counter case FIR, accusing the Christian family of harassing the willfully converted and married woman and for forcing to convert the woman back to Christianity and sometime it become danger to life if Christian family take legal action against Muslim man. In most cases, the victim girl may be subjected to sexual violence, rape, forced prostitution, human trafficking and sale, or other domestic abuse or discarded from home after passing some time.
