Government promise to build Hindu and Sikh temples in Islamabad

Islamabad: November 17, 2015. (PCP) Former Federal Minister J Salik said that Federal Minister for Information Mr. Pervez Rasheed promised to build new temples for Hindu and Sikh Communities in Islamabad when the old places of worship are being humiliated. He said that the Ram Kundh temple in SaidPur Village Islamabad is a famous old temple of Hindu community, which is considered very sacred for them is being humiliating by making not only a private hotel named Dais Perdais but a government institute, office of Capital Development Authority in the temple, recently an old church in Gujarat was humiliated by shattering law. He said that it’s not about a few cases but so many temples for Hindus, Sikh’s temples, Churches, Hospitals and educational institutions of minorities are under government control. He said that its too good to build new worship places for minorities but most important thing is not only to secure them, their sanctity should be respected and humiliation should be stopped everywhere in Pakistan.
