It is very sad and heart breaking to hear about beloved Pakistani brothers and sisters in Christ in the Thailand who are suffering so much with uncertainty of protection, food, and shelter for faithful life. I personally have seen the live of Asylum seekers below human’ standard during my two month tour for them voluntarily; they are stateless and have no citizenship anywhere; they had left their country Pakistan because of their faith in Christ. Nobody leave his country without reason. They left Pakistan for getting Asylum in other countries through UNHCR (mediator) but now they had been caught in that country (Thailand). Thailand is not supporting and accepting UNHCR Letter for Asylum Seekers. I want to define meaning of Asylum Seeker, “someone who leaves their own country, often for political reasons or because of war, and who travels to another country hoping that the government will protect them and allow them to live there. It is definition in Cambridge Dictionary and online dictionary. 1. Protection and immunity from extradition granted by a government to a political refugee from another country. 2. a. A place offering protection and safety; a shelter. b. Protection or shelter; refuge: c. A place, such as a church, formerly constituting an inviolable refuge for criminals or debtors. 3. An institution for the care of people, especially those with physical or mental impairments, who require organized supervision or assistance. I just did explain these meaning of Asylum seeker for the understanding of those who hates Word “Asylum” or an ignorant person who draws meaning according to their desires, darkness and darkest thoughts of dictatorship and bureaucracy. And who consider themselves; they always are right in their point of view without logic. Asylum is for everyone’ legal right as human who does not feel protected and safety anywhere in the world. It can be religious, politic and social. As it had been happened in the History of all biggest religion, they ran away place to place for a Shelter, people had to leave their home places. All well known reader know about this fact “history of religion”, politics and social matters. This is not only Pakistani Christian and Ahmadis who are getting Asylum in other countries but also so many other citizen of world is finding Asylum in other countries. It is national or international law for human being. It is a bad luck of Pakistani Christian, UNHCR's staff that is not responsible, dutiful and loyal with their duties for human being. UN staff of Thailand must be dismissed because they are not doing their duties as representative of International organization that works for human rights. I am a living witness as “Bishop of Pakistan" of Episcopal Church Mission Pakistan. I have witness written email to UN Staff that I wrote email to UN office of Bangkok so many time, but they did not respond me positively, they had been asking questions in their emails, what I wanted to ask? If they did respond me, they told me that there is no officer "Commissioner” in an office of Bangkok, I asked when he will come back; they did not reply my email. I had been waiting for their call and email whole months. Then my visa had been expired, and then I had to move from Thailand. It is crystal clear that shows UN had been involved to persecute Pakistani Christian being silent audience (watcher); they don’t want to solve problems of Pakistani Christian Asylum seekers. But they had intentionally kept them under their brutal system in Thailand for many years where children, women and girls had been targeted for persecution or sexual abuse. Thailand is also responsible for human rights; they gave reasonable rights to their citizen. If UN has no alliance with Thailand, then why they kept their office in Thailand where they are giving letter of Asylum to Asylum seekers, another brutal action of UNHCR with Asylum seekers, they give Asylum seekers appointment for interviews to make them refugee after 3, 4 or 5 years. It is not only trap but also punishment for Asylum seekers where they can’t do job in Thailand for their survival. Even they did not give them residence and food. They had been left Asylum seekers helpless in Thailand where they don’t know language of Thailand; even most of Thai citizen cannot speak English. It is way of persecution of UNHCR, how an Asylum seeker spends their lives in a miserable and pitiable condition from all aspects of life. It is also crystal clear that Thailand Government is not cooperating with International Organization UN. Even we knew from news that Thailand did not sign on Guinea UN policies for Asylum Seekers. Then why they are calling Asylum seeker in Thailand, even they are not supporting them food and rent, on other hand Asylum seekers are not being allowed to work for their survival. Every week, 20 – 200 Pakistani Asylum seekers are being arrested by immigration police of Thailand; because Thai Government did not accept UN Letter which is issued by UNO for Asylum seekers to send them to other countries, When I interviewed one of Pastor who had been protected by UNHCR, he said to me that 99 % cases of Pakistani Christian Asylum seekers are fake. After coming back from my missionary tour of Thailand and Singapore, I shared with my team Bishops and Pastors in Pakistan who are also working as inter denominational and self supported, they are also unhappy with UNHCR’ role for human rights of Pakistani Christian and Ahmadis, Bishops of Pakistan told in their interviews, if these cases of Pakistani Asylum seekers are fake, It means that Pakistan is peaceful country, Here is no persecutions, but in fact, there is so many cases of burnt Christian colonies, churches and live burning. We are thankful to News Papers and news channels that have so many documentaries on the persecution over Christian since 1947 and Burning of Churches, Christian Colonies and alive burning. It means that UN is not sincere with human rights and they are not aware with news of Pakistan. How Pakistani Christian are living in Pakistan. Now we want to share little bit about political situation of Pakistan. Pakistani minorities cannot choose leaders for their rights (ministers of parliament, National Assemblies). Winner political parties choose their leaders according to their desires who work for their motives but not for minorities’ rights. This selection system has paralyzed whole Christianity in Pakistan. These leaders are being chosen for specific purpose of political parties, who tell common Pakistani citizen that they did not come in National Assembly with votes of people but the favor of political parties. They spoke what their chooser said to speak; they cannot speak about rights of minorities. When Pakistan came into existence with votes of Christian by Founder of Pakistan “Quid – E – Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah that was different Pakistan. But now definition of Pakistan had been changed. It is Islamic republic Pakistan; this is for Muslim and by Muslim. It means that Christian is stateless by this definition. If leaders will speak about the rights of minorities, they will have fear for not selection in next election, they save their seats not people’s rights, this kind of dead leadership in Pakistan had prevailed. It is crystal clear. One of my Bishop Doctor friends shared in the meeting ‘ interview who he is intellectual and educated from Germany, He told that all prophesies of Bible is only for Pakistani Christian, even all other countries Christian are living their lives decently and better than Pakistani Christian. When we say that it is according to prophesies of bible. Why we cannot say that our system of Pakistan is not good from all aspect of life from higher level to lower level. Because now local counselors are also selected not elected. We appeal to Pakistan Christian Congress, all Pakistan leaders to raise voice all over Pakistan against UNHCR who is trapping Pakistani Christian Asylum seeker by giving them fake hope for future. Even Pakistani Christian are persecuted and tortured in Thailand even for basic needs. I appreciate Papa, Thongchai Ariyawongwiwat, Nazir S. Bhatti, Chowdhry Wilson, those brothers, sisters, ministry, Trust” Shelter organization” and churches who are trying to help Pakistan Christian who has pain and burden for these persecuted Christian.
