Karachi: December 11, 2015. (PCP) Dr. Nazir S Bhatti, President of Pakistan Christian Congress PCC have advised Capital Development Authority CDA to advertise “Sanitary Workers Muslim only in Islamabad” if it fears that Christian slums are danger for Muslim demography in Islamabad. “Pakistani Christians will be grateful of CDA and Interior Minister Ch. Nisar Ali if they take out yoke of slavery through imposition of profession of Sanitary Worker for them starting from capital city of Pakistan with hiring only Muslim as sweepers and push all Christians out of Islamabad by demolishing their homes to make this city more beautiful and Muslim friendly populated” said Nazir Bhatti Pakistan Christian Congress Chief said “Muslims have been cleaning streets of cities of Indian sub-continent for centuries while profession of sanitary worker was imposed on Christians after formation of Pakistan” Islamabad was built in 1960s and Christians from different villages of Punjab were brought to this new city with promise of lucrative jobs and ultimate housing and other facilities but only jobs of sanitary workers were given to them and tents as homes. The Christian workers made mud or brick homes on same tents facilities where electric and water connections were deployed by CDA in different phases of time. Nazir Bhatti expressed surprise that these Christian slum dwellers kept this city clean for decades which now CDA is declaring black mark of beauty of Islamabad. PCC Chief demanded CDA to build apartments for Christian residents of slums because they are CDA employees from years. CDA intends to demolish slums of Christians and statement submitted by it in Supreme Court of Pakistan in a petition that Christian slums are danger for Muslim population by itself is contempt of court and grave violation of rights of Christians in Pakistan which constitution of Pakistan declares equal citizen of state.
