Lahore: March 18, 2016. (PCP) Today, in this 21st century the Christians in Pakistan like many other Christians in the Middle East and Asia are facing the epic social evil like forced conversion. Reema and Tahira are among those girls who not only abducted and raped but they were converted forcefully to Islam to marry Muslim men, so they were not only tortured physically and sexually but also psychologically torn and destroyed in their faith and belief. Reema and Tahira are among those unfortunate women who have lost their dignity, trust and strength by the hands of Muslims who kidnapped them, raped and converted them and then forced them to marry them. Fact Finding by The Voice Society: The date of occurrence of this unfortunate incident is 9-12-15, when in Chak 38, Janubi Sargodha the family of Bashir Masih was not home, they were out to attend some wedding while his daughters Reema, Tahira and his daughter in law Irum Bibi were at home, when in the middle of the night at about 2:00am, Mohammad Samilullah, Kashif, Rana Anees, Rana Mehmood Alam and Mohammad Mustafa went to their home knowing that the family is not there . They abducted the Girls Reema aged about 18 years and Tahira aged about 22 years. While Irum contacted the family and told them about the occurance. The team of the Voice reached the incidence after the family contacted for help on 20-02-16 and visited the family and interviewed few of their family members. According to the Father Bashir Masih: there were old enemitiy between the Muslim’s group and their families because in 2012, Nazir Masih’s son got married with the daughter of Rana Samiullah named Munaza Bibi and she was converted to Christianity with her own will. Nazir Masih is the cousin brother of Bashir Masih and then the family of Nazir Masih left the village but Bashir Masih was still there and he also helped the family of Nazir Masih in escaping the village therefore the Muslims took their revenge by taking his both daughters as a replacement of his daughter Munaza. He also told the Voice team that his elder daughter Tahira some how escaped her so-called Muslim husband’s house and is now in hiding. When she escaped she told the story of their miseries and sufferings, she told that Kashif s/o Muhammad Sarwar raped her, and tortured her and then he forcefully converted her, while she was constantly refusing to embrace Islam, he converted her and force fully married her. Similarly Muhammad Mustafa took her younger sister Reema who is just 18 years old and got her married to him after converting her forcefully. One day Kashif forgot to lock her and she escaped her prison and reached Lahore and contacted the family. And after that time she is living in hiding, where as poor Reema is still there in the illegal yet legal custody of her forced husband. The Husband of Tahira got registered a case against the whole family of Bashir Masih that they have kidnapped his wife Tahira, and the case is pending for proceedings in The High Court Lahore.
