Faisalabad: August 25, 2016. (PCP) The Christian Colony "Khushal Town" was attacked by a violent mob of neighboring Muslims, who indiscreetly started injuring the Christians. The mob was in a rage and thrashed up the Christian women and injured four young and an old person. The Christians closed themselves up into their homes out of fear and terror. Three days later the Christian Local Leaders of neighboring Christian colonies got together and met the City Police Officer and produced the injured victims before him asking him to provide protection to the Christians. The apprehensions were expressed that the attackers may blame someone of having committed an offense against religion. This aspect has been brought in notice of the police authorities as a preemptive move. I exhorted the Christian victims to hold steadfast and standing united for foiling the attempt of the attackers who want that Christians evacuate their home properties. How a little matter of two persons (Christian and Muslim) started and got extreme. One Christian man was going on motor bike in Khushall Town; he touched little bit with Muslim man during riding motorbike. Fight started among them, but it had been stopped because of reconciling people. But Muslim had been in anger of pride to take revenge from Christian man. Christian man had been playing game in Snooker club, Muslim came to fight with him, Again fight had been stopped, But Muslim man had been still in anger against minority Christian man. Because there was only two streets of Christian along-with Catholic Church. This incident had happened on 19th August 2016. Muslim gathered Muslim mob against Christian man. Then Christian closed doors of their houses. Then Muslim mob started to beat Christian and firing on doors of houses. Case was not filed till 24 August 2016 against Muslim Mob for protect and safety of Christian communities.
