Christian and Muslim leaders condemn the cartoons of the Holy Personalities

Lahore: March 13, 2017. (NCID) A special meeting took place at the residence of the Archbishop Sebastian Francis Shaw OFM; the Chairman of the National Commission for Inter Religious Dialogue and Ecumenism (NCIDE). The Christian and Muslim renowned leaders condemned the indecent use of the social media to disgrace the holy personalities through posting the cartoons. The participants strongly condemned this negative attitude and insisted on the respect of all the prophets and reverence towards one another’s religions. Meanwhile, A special prayer service was organized by the Chairman of the National Commission for Inter Religious Dialogue and Ecumenism (NCIDE). It took place at the residence of the Archbishop Sebastian Francis Shaw OFM; Chairman of the said Commission. The Christian and Muslim leaders prayed for the deceased of the terrorist attacks which took place at Lahore, Quetta, Peshawar and Sewan Sharif. They prayed to the Almighty God that they may enter paradise. The prayers were also said for the wounded persons in these attacks. The religious and social leaders included were Archbishop Sebastian Francis Shaw , Fr. Francis Nadeem OFM Cap, Fr. James Chanan O.P., Fr. Pascal Paulus O.P. Fr. Inyat Bernard, Rev.
