Chitral: April 21, 2017. (PCP) During Friday Prayers situation turned ugly when one worshiper in mosque asked for permission to make an announcement and declared him to be Prophet and told gathering that anyone who will become his follower will go to heaven.
The worshipers in mosques attacked him and started beating him as was accuse of blasphemy but he was rescued by police from mob justice.
Rashid Ahmed who declared him Prophet in mosque was taken to police station but mob followed him and injured some police men who protected him.
The police called Army to maintain law and order situation and Sections of PPC under blasphemy law were added in FIR on demand of angry protestor.
It is 3rd incident of blasphemy allegation in KP province of Pakistan where a university student was mercilessly murdered and one healer was also victim.
The incidents of violence on blasphemy are rising among Muslim community now when this law was used against Christians and Ahmadiyya community in past.
