Lahore, Pakistan: In a shocking incident that has alarmed the Christian community in Lahore, a mother of six has gone missing from Gujjum
KARACHI (Pakistan):February 27, 2007. Armed men tried to kidnap the younger brother of world renowned human rights activist and US declared international human rights `HERO` Ansar Burney in Karachi near his residence in North Nazimabad, Karachi on Monday, but failed.
The Ansar Burney Trust International chairman's brother, Haroon Burney, was standing near his house when armed men tried to force him to sit in their vehicle, but they ran away when they saw that private guards outside the rights activist's house had noticed them.
Commenting on the incident; Mr Ansar Burney a senior lawyer and member of the International Bar Association (UK) and American Bar Association (USA) has said that such dirty and cowardly things can not stop him from his work of human rights and anti human trafficking drive.
The incident has been reported to police and Rangers and other authorities.
