Pakistani Christian celebrate Christmas with fear under tight security

Islamabad: December 26, 2017. (PCP) Apart from routinely felicitation messages by President of Pakistan Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Christmas to Christians, Chief of Army Staff General Bajwa also appeared in one Church services in garrison city Rawalpindi to prove that government fully protect them but fear among Christians was felt at large. After terrorist’s attack on Church in Quetta which martyred 9 Christian worshipers and injured more than 50 on December 17, 2017, had spread feelings of fear and insecurity among Christians throughout Pakistan. Brave Christians across Pakistan attended their Christmas services despite knowing they are the primary target for hatred during this season. The Christians gathered in Bethel Methodist Church in Quetta city also which was targeted by Muslim terrorists. The US administration have put on notice to Pakistan on harboring and providing safe haven to terrorist outfits which Pakistan denies.
