Karachi: March 12, 2018. (PCP) Rwadari Tehreek, a nationwide movement working to promote pluralism to counter hatred, violent extremism and terrorism protest in front of Karachi Press Club against discrimination and ill-treatment with minority community of Pakistan. Ms. Seema Shaikh, Nabeela Aslam, Allomia ul Raj addressed in the protest.
Pakistani Christian Lawyer and Human Rights Activities Allomia ul Raj expressed deep grief and annoyance over frequent attacks on religious minorities in the pretext of Blasphemy allegations and demanded a policy and strategy to stop the misuse of Blasphemy Laws which is being used to hook the religious minorities into fabricated cases and their lives, worship places and other properties are being attacked. She said that even judges and courts face pressure from the religious fanatics.
Former Member Parliament Sindh and delivered telephonic address and said that the majority community of Pakistan discriminate the rights of minorities and there are numerous cases of forced conversion and marriages. He added that a democratic state gives equal status and rights to all its citizen.
