Pakistani Christians to observe A Day To Fast And Prayer on May 1st against rising violence on them

Karachi: April 25, 2018. (PCP) Pakistan Christian Congress PCC have appealed Catholic Bishops Conference, Bishops Church of Pakistan, Prayer Warriors, Evangelists, Christ Crusaders, Civil Society Activists, Human Right Defenders and Bishops of other Churches to observe May 1st as A Day of Fast and Prayer against atrocities, false blasphemy cases, grapping of properties, Rape of Christian women and their enforced conversion to Islam and equal basic democratic rights in Islamic Republic of Pakistan. PCC Chief Dr. Nazir S Bhatti said that Our Lord who is mighty miracle worker will work the way He worked in the days of Aster. All the walls of Jericho will crumble like in the days of Joshua. Let's observe it and humble ourselves before the Lord so that he may have mercy on us. Dr. Nazir Bhatti said “Hope our Clergy and Civil Society will mark May 1st as religious protest day for Christians due share in federation, Dual Voting rights and end to misuse of Islamic laws on them” “If government of Islamic Republic of Pakistan failed to stop misuse of blasphemy law, enforced conversion of Christian women to Islam and protection of life and property then in August 2018, PCC will announce Right Actions in Conference” added Nazir Bhatti
