Christian Lawyer express concern of gang rape and forced conversion of Christian women

Karachi: April 26, 2018. (PCP) Ms. Allomia ul Raj, Christian Lawyer and Human Rights activists showed her concern over the recent incidents of gang rapes and threats with the Christians families to convert to Islam and reconciliation. In her statement she said three Muslim men along with Muhammad Malak (Shop Keeper) gang rape a Christian Girl Miss Najma, resident of Sherakot Lahore. Medical report has proved that the said Christian girl was raped. FIR was lodged but the accused are pressurizing victim’s family for reconciliation and have taken girl as captive. Christian girl Ms. Semiah D/o. Riasat Masih aged 15 years raped by Muhammad Sheryar Sharry who is son of Feudal Muhammad Ashraf Jutt in District Sheikhpura Punjab on 11-04-2018. As per reports Ms. Semiah went to the local market for shopping where Muslim man kidnapped her and took he to his private dairy farm and raped. Medical report proved such incident. FIR has been registered but police is not arresting the culprit. In another incident Mr. Ashraf Masih S/o. Yousuf Masih resident of Village Chak No. 517-BB District Toba TEk Singh and his wife Shazia and daughter was beaten by Mr. Ghaffar cousin of Mrs. Dr. Zerqa and other Muslim men. Mr. Ashraf Masih has been working in Government Health Centre in same village, he borrowed Rs. 1,00,000/- from Mrs. Dr. Zerqa and return half payment. Her cousin Mr. Ghaffar said that Mr. Ashraf has not return any amount and he is not willing to return Rs.1,00,000/-. He along with other Muslim men beaten whole family and demanded them to convert to Islam. She showed her great concern and demanded Government to probe into these matters on urgent basis, arrest the accused / culprits and legal help as well as financial assistance may be provided to the victims and their family.
