Grandson of Christian Scholar dies in jail arrested under blasphemy laws in Pakistan
Lahore: May 18, 2018. (PCP) Sharoon Nasir son of Pakistan Army Officer late Major Timotheus Nasir and grandson of Star of Asia Title famous religious Scholar KL Nasir dies in jail awaiting trial on accusations of blasphemy laws.
The news of death of Sharoon Nasir spread among Christians of Pakistan creating fear and concern about safety in Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
The grandfather of Sharoon Nasir, Rev. Kundan Lal Nasir headed century old Christian institution Faith Theological Seminary and earned Title of Star of Asia on his services in evangelism and Theology.
Sharoon Nasir was also student of Faith Theological Seminary and earned degree in Divinity to offer his services to Christian community.
