A Christian widow on run for safety after marriage of his son with girl converted to Christianity from Islam.
Lahore: May 25, 2007. Khursheed Bibi 54, a widow of Khushi Masih from Sahiwal district is on run for safety of life after registration of false kidnap charges against her and other family members by a Muslim who is father of wife of her daughter.
Kursheed Bibi approached Sharing Life Ministry Pakistan (SLMP) offices based in Lahore today. She told that her son named as Kashif aged of 26 years was doing job as a salesman in a shoe shop at Sahiwal. He was in love with a Muslim girl named Nasreen aged 25 years, daughter of Liaqat Ali. He eloped with Nasreen and got married on 5th April 2007.
On asking Sharing Life Ministry Pakistan (SLMP) Khursheed told, "Kashif fled away from Sahiwal and started living in Multan because Nasreen father was very aggressive"
Liaqat Ali made a fabricated story of abduction of Nasreen and got case registered vide First Information Report (FIR) No. 148 dated 19th May 2007, offence under section 365-B Pakistan Penal Code, against Kashif, his mother Khursheed and a cousin named as Qaiser Masih in police station Fatah Sher Sahiwal.
On asking Sharing Life Ministry Pakistan (SLMP), Khursheed Bibi told, "I don't know where Kashif is, I left my house when a came to know that I am also nominated in the FIR Police raided at my house but I was not at home. I do job at Parish house Sahiwal as a housemaid." She added, 'I came to know that Kashif and Nasreen went to Liaqat Ali about 10 days ago. I don't have any contact with my son. I am very afraid of going my house because police will arrest me."
She further told that police has illegally arrested my brother's son Arshad from District Multan and one of my relatives named as Samuel from Lahore.
