Hyderabad Church demands Advance Salary to Christian employees on Christmas

HYDERABAD: (By Abbas Kassar) Diocese of Hyderabad Church of Pakistan has, after extending Christmas and new Year greetings to nation. In a statement issued by Church, it has demanded that Christian employees of government and private institutions be paid salaries in advance and also to pay them arrears of pensions. 

Christian leader Kaleem Masih has said that Christmas is celebrated in whole world on 25th December but programs of birth of Christ start from December 1st. On this occasion, Christian colonies, institutions, and Churches are Decorated.

He said Christmas gives us message of peace and security. He said Christ came in the world as light for deliverance of humans. His birth was predicted by God’s messengers. He asked followers to celebrate the occasion with Religious zeal and fervor with love and feelings for all. He asked for remembering the martyrs.

He asked government not to restore power outage on this occasion and security be tightened further so to avoid any kind of untoward incident. He prayed that Christmas /new year prove source of peace and security for all. He also prayed For freedom of Occupied Kashmir.
