Lahore: (By Pervez Yousaf) To share the efforts to combat the deadly corona virus the National Commission for Interreligious Dialogue & Ecumenism prepared an instructional pamphlet for the general public to make them aware of the precautionary measures to remain safe from its effects.
A two-member delegation of the NCIDE comprised of Fr. Francis Nadeem OFM Cap and Sahibzada Maulana Muhammad Asim Makhdoom distributed the pamphlet among Imams of Mosques, Fathers, Nuns, and Priests to further distribute it among the people of nearby areas.
They also urged all the people to pray daily in homes, Mosques, Churches, Mandirs and Gurudwaras for the abolition of this deadly virus.
Talking to media representatives while distributing the pamphlet at Liberty Chowk (crossing) they said that all the Interreligious leaders/scholars are standing with the people and government of Pakistan and carrying out their efforts in this disastrous situation not only in our country but around the world. They said that we must not fear but prepare ourselves to encounter this deadly virus by following instructions of the government Pakistan and its health care advisors.
