"Global Celebration: Kutchi Cultural Day Unites Communities Worldwide on May 1st, European Social Organizations Extend Warm Welcome!"

Karachi: Preparations for the celebration of Kutchi Cultural Day are in full swing worldwide, including in Europe. Representatives from European social organizations are extending a warm welcome for the first ever cultural day of Kutchi Nation. The Kutchi community, residing in various countries such as Pakistan, India, Malawi, Tanzania, and Europe, has not only shown support for the establishment of a common platform but has also formally announced the celebration of Kutchi Cultural Day on May 1st 2024.

The Majlis-e-Shura of the Panjee Kutchi community, operating in Pakistan, has approved the celebration of International Kutchi Culture Day on May 1st. They emphasized that the Kutchi nation is recognized globally as a hardworking community, hence it is preferred to celebrate the cultural day of the Kutchi Nation on International Labor Day. The declaration issued by the Paneei Kutchi Majlis-e-Shura highlights the significant efforts made for the independence of  Pakistan, with notable figures such as Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Haji Abdullah Haroon, and II Chundrigar.

Dr. Hani Kutchi, Chairman of Panjee Kutchi Majlis-e-Shura, introduced a Kutchi language keyboard based on the Urdu alphabet to underscore the importance of the Kutchi language in contemporary times. Zubair Hussain, Chairman of Europe's social organization, Pakistan Promotion Network Europe, commended this initiative by the Kutchi Nation and pledged full support on behalf of the organization to establish a network of International Kutchi Organization (I.K.O) within the overseas kutchi community. He further added that he belongs to Kutchi Muslim Loharwada Jamat and he aims to join Kutchi Cultural Day Ceremony in Karachi.

Amir Khalil Janjua, President of Pakistan Cultural Society Sweden, announced plans to not only host the ceremony in Malmö, the cultural capital of Sweden but also to register the Kutchi language as an international language in the city's cultural center. Khurram Khan, President of Pakistan Business Council Europe, emphasized that cultural activities can promote unique products in European markets, especially those with minimal use of machinery to combat pollution. The organization has outlined its action plan for organizing Kutchi cultural fairs worldwide, including reaching out to various Kutchi community groups globally, including those in Pakistan.

Panjee Kutchi Majlis-e-Shura has previously released video teasers for Kutchi Cultural Day and will soon unveil the schedule of activities related to the event.
