Pastor Kamaran Micheal Assassinated in Gujranwala, Pakistan

Toronto, Canada: International Christian Voice (ICV) is deeply saddened by the tragic assassination of Pastor Kamaran Micheal, who was killed for his unwavering Christian faith and his dedicated ministry of preaching the Gospel.

Through various sources, ICV has learned that Pastor Kamaran had long been targeted by extremists because of his passion for serving God and his community. Several months ago, he survived an assassination attempt in Islamabad in which he sustained a gunshot wound to his leg. Sadly, on December 5, 2025, he was attacked again while dropping his children at school. His eldest daughter witnessed the attack and pleaded for her father’s life, but the assailants showed no mercy.

International Christian Voice strongly condemns the killing of Pastor Kamaran Micheal. We call on the authorities to swiftly arrest the perpetrators and bring them to justice. We also urge the Government of Pakistan to ensure the safety, protection, and equal rights of all religious minorities, and to take concrete and meaningful measures to prevent such tragedies from occurring.

During this time of immense pain, we ask our community to join us in prayer:

For comfort for Pastor Kamaran’s wife, children, mother-in-law, and extended family as they endure this profound loss.

For strength for the Pakistani Christian community as they grieve the loss of Pastor Kamaran Micheal.

For protection of Christians across Pakistan, especially during this Christmas season.

For justice and peace for a nation deeply in need of healing.
