Mastung, Balochistan: Calls for justice and greater protection have grown following the tragic killing of two Christian youths, Sabar Masih and Auyosh Masih, who were shot dead by unknown attackers in Mastung. The incident has caused deep sorrow among their families, friends, and the wider Christian community, while raising renewed concerns over the safety and security of religious minorities in Pakistan.

According to reports, Sabar Masih and Auyosh Masih were targeted by unidentified assailants, resulting in their deaths. The incident has sparked grief and concern among community members, who have called for a thorough investigation, the identification of those responsible, and justice for the victims’ families.

Pastor Imran Amanat, head of LEAD Ministries Pakistan, strongly condemned the killings and expressed heartfelt sympathy and solidarity with the bereaved families. He offered prayers for the deceased and called on the authorities to ensure that the victims’ families receive justice through a transparent, impartial, and effective legal process.

Pastor Amanat said that every citizen of Pakistan has the fundamental right to life, dignity, and protection under the law. He emphasized that the state has a responsibility to safeguard the lives and properties of all citizens, particularly vulnerable communities, and to ensure an environment where people can live without fear.

“The tragic loss of Sabar Masih and Auyosh Masih is a painful reminder of the concerns faced by Christian communities. Their families deserve justice, and those responsible for this violence must be brought before the law,” Pastor Amanat said.

He further expressed concern over incidents of violence, harassment, and discrimination that create fear and insecurity among Christians and other religious minorities. He stressed that equal protection, justice, and respect for human dignity are essential for building a peaceful and inclusive society.

LEAD Ministries Pakistan has continued its efforts to advocate for the rights, safety, and dignity of Christian communities, raising awareness about challenges faced by minorities and supporting calls for justice, equality, and peaceful coexistence.

Community members have appealed to the Government of Balochistan and law enforcement agencies to conduct a comprehensive investigation into the killings and take effective steps to prevent similar incidents in the future.

The Christian community continues to mourn the deaths of Sabar Masih and Auyosh Masih and calls for justice, accountability, and stronger protection measures so that every citizen, regardless of faith, can live in safety and security.
