Sialkot: (By Staff Correspondent) A ceremony was held at the Biblical Faith Church—organized by the Vision of God Ministry and the Christian Awareness Movement—to launch Dr. Adil Ghouri’s book (Christian Daughters in shroud of frae)  While introducing the book, Dr. Adil Ghouri stated that the issue of forced marriages and forced conversions involving underage Christian girls is extremely serious. He noted that despite repeated warnings from Christian organizations as well as political, social, and religious leaders, the government has failed to treat the matter with the necessary seriousness, leading to a rapid escalation of the crisis. He added that this book has been compiled as an investigative study to draw the attention of the Government of Pakistan and the international community to the issue.

This book has been translated into English—and is currently being translated into Korean—to convey the voices of weeping, screaming, and sobbing Christian daughters to the international community. Addressing the event, Dr. Tahreem Adil Ghouri, Pastor Anil Bhatti, Zarnab Munir, Faraz Danish Naseer Khokhar, and Roshni Ghouri described the book as a necessity for every Christian household in the present day and urged Christian mothers to read it. At the conclusion of the event, free copies of the book were distributed among the participants.
