ISLAMABAD: December 5, 2007. Eight leading Muslim political parties have adopted 47 on reserved seats for Non-Muslims in National Assembly of Pakistan.

The 8 Muslim political parties shall distribute Non-Muslim seats proportional to their seats in National Assembly of Pakistan after results of elections 2008. The Hindus dominated in these selections when Hindus are on third position according to population and Christians on second number after Muslim majority in Pakistan. The recent trend clearly indicates Muslim political parties trend to rely on Hindus instead of Christians because majority of Christians reject Joint Electorate and selection system and their demands of Dual Voting with Separate Electorates. The Hindu minority encircled in Sindh province only follows feudal lords style like Muslims and seeks support of government to oppress Dalit Hindus. According to APP, The Islamic Alliance named MMA and PML (Q) have nominated nine candidates each with PPP Parliamentarians nominating seven, ANP five candidates, MQM four candidates, and PPP (Sherpao) two candidates. Sindh United Party has nominated one candidate. The Benazir Bhutto Pakistan Peoples Party has nominated Shahbaz Bhatti, Ramesh Lal, Dr Lal Chand s/o Kundan Mal, Dr Mahesh Malani, Dr Khatumal Jeewan, Michael Javed and Khalid Gill. The long term loyal to PPP, Joseph Francis announced to quit PPP after adoption of Shahbaz Bhatti. Pakistan Muslim League (N) has nominated Dr Darshan, Nelson Azeem, Araish Kumar, Bhawan Das, Krishin Bheel, Fredic Azeem Ghauri, Farid Chand, Shakeel Chandar, Kamran Michael and Peter John Sahutra. Peter John Sahutra succeeded to get adoption of Nawaz Sharif while Emmanuel Zafar failed to seek any adoption. Muttahida Majlas-e-Aml has nominated Pervaiz Masih, Heman Das, Pervaiz John, Younas Sohan, Rajesh Kumar, Razzaq Inayat, Astar Izhaar, Shahid Gulzar and Permishwari Kanwal. Awami National Party has nominated Engineer Ruwainder Kumar, Dr Sahib Singh, Augsteen Jacob, Dr Suraish Rajpal and M Kishore.
