Philadelphia: March 10, 2008. Nazir S Bhatti, Chief of Pakistan Christian Congress expressed his concerns on decreasing number in seats for Christians in parliaments and termed it conspiracy against 16 million Christians to end their voice.

Mr. Bhatti said "We had six seats in National Assembly of Pakistan in 1973, which were reduced to 4 in 1985, but it is strange that in 2008, we have only 3 seats, while we had 2 seats in Sindh Assembly which is also reduced to only one" "The seats of Hindus have be increased under pressure of India when Hindus are on number three comparing to Christians being second biggest population" added Nazir Bhatti Chief of PCC claimed that decrease in Christian seats is secret plan executed under Joint election system imposed in elections 2002, by the establishment and Muslim political parties. Under joint elections, when franchise voting right is snatched from minorities, Muslim politicians are empowered to select on reserved seats that prefer Hindus rather than Christians. Mr Bhatti added, "Christians are feeling unrest on selection of their leaders by Muslim political parties in National Assembly and provincial assemblies" We demand due seats in parliaments for Christians under Dual Voting rights and condemned Joint Election system.
