There are so=called Christian leaders who always voiced Christian persecution and victimization under blasphemy laws during their tours abroad and cashed millions in donations but now when they are in government they are silent to press upon government to repeal blasphemy laws. The Bishops Conference of Pakistan has been issuing statements to repeal blasphemy laws in Pakistan but mysteries silence prevails on their part also after PPP led government in Pakistan. “It seems that Christian selected members by Pakistan Peoples Party have bargained on Christians demands to enter in parliaments” said Nazir Bhatti During Pakistan Peoples Party government the cases of blasphemy have been registered against Christians. The minor Christian girls have been raped, kidnapped and forced to convert to Islam while government failed to ensure justice to Christian women. Nazir Bhatti said “Where are those leaders who demanded governorship of Punjab province for Christians? Their silence leads to presume that they have bargained for their vested interest” PCC chief appealed to Christian Youth to unite and launch social boycott of Christian selected by PPP and PML (N) in National Assembly of Pakistan and Provincial Assemblies to put pressure on them to raise voice to repeal blasphemy laws and governorship of Punjab province because Christians are 18% of population of Punjab and deserve right in share in Punjab government. Nazir Bhatti added “PCC fears are coming to realty that Joint Election System was conspiracy against Christians to hijack their vote bank and impose Christian tools of their choice by selection and turn Christian voiceless” “The abolishment of Separate Electorate for minorities was hatched by feudal lord Muslims to capture Christian Votes and funded Christian tools to propagate against it on national and international forums” said Nazir Bhatti In Separate Electorates Christians were electing their representation by their votes while Muslim political groups select Christians of their choice under Joint Electorate. Dr. Nazir S Bhatti urged Christian selected members in parliament to resign and join masses if they cannot raise voice against blasphemy laws.
