Appointment of Christian Judge is success of Christian pressure groups not achievement of Shahbaz Bhatti

PCP Report: The Pakistani Christians around globe feel satisfaction on appointment of Christian judge in Lahore High Court. An unknown Christian advocate who never appeared in any case of blasphemy nor

he was human rights activists but only known in Church clergy circles came in lime light with announcement of Justice among other 15 Muslims for Lahore High Court by Pakistan Peoples Party. His name is Samshaid Rehmatullah, Does it sounds like a Christian? Let us know more about Judge Jamshaid Rehmatullah. Justice Rehmatullah was presiding meetings of Board of Governors of FC College Lahore before appointment as judge. He took oath of justice today on March 1, 2009, but he issued a statement on February 28, 2009, which was published in Assist News, in which he ’Thanked” Shahbaz Bhatt, Federal Minister for Minorities for his efforts to pave way for appointment of Christian judge in high court. Judge Rehmatullah goes more further in his comments and condemns all who criticize Mr. Shahbaz Bhatt. In same statement he advised Christian advocates to work more passionately for Christian cause in Pakistan. This statement can be viewed by this dateline on We Christians wish to bring in notice of honorable Justice Samshaid Rehmatullha that your appointment is not due to struggle of Shahbaz Bhatt but ultimate result of awareness among Christians who have courage to press upon government. Shahbaz Bhatti is simple employ and tool of Pakistan Peoples Party who demanded Christian Governorship of Punjab, Christian Seats in Senate of Pakistan, 5% Quota for Christian youth and repeal of Blasphemy laws but never included Christian Judge in his Charter of Demands issued at Minar-e-Pakistan. This demand was made by Pakistan Christian Congress PCC and other pressure groups which wanted share in judiciary of Pakistan. Up till this day Shahbaz Bhatti have failed to make Christian governor of Punjab, failed to allocate Christian seats in Senate of Pakistan, failed in issuance of notification of 5% quota and failed to repeal blasphemy laws. So, why gratitude to a Failed Minister for Minorities. Christians also wish to bring on record that there are dozens of Christian advocates who have been fighting cases of blasphemy victims without any fee from platform of CLAAS and SLMP. Those Christian advocated are traveling to far flung areas of Pakistan to record statements of gang raped Christian teen age girls and enforced Christians women to accept Islam. Those Christian advocates are poor but they are visiting desecrated Churches by Muslims and sending reports to media and International forums. Do you think honorable Justice Rehmatullaha, you can advice them? Do you ever found any piece of article about your services to Pakistani Christians in media? No, because, your services were limited to FC College only,. Or may be with very high wages!!! So, we request you to refrain from issuing such statement in favor of so-called politician who are tools of Muslim feudal lords. We congratulate you Mr. Justice Jamshaid Rehmatullha to be a Christian Justice of Lahore High Court but urge you to stay away from politics and serve poor nation of Pakistan by ensuring true justice.
