Pakistani Christian in Glasgow to hold prayers against blasphemy
UK: September 8, 2009. (PCP) Mr. Javed Lal, Founder of “A Voice for the Voiceless“ have announced here today that Christians community from Glasgow are protesting against blasphemy law 295C.
“This was clearly visible when Christians were burnt alive, this horrific and devastating attack on Christian families in Gojra Pakistan who were killed. There were number of families who got killed and slaughtered along with several churches. Beside’s that over a hundred houses were burnt down and destroyed” said Mr. Lal
The Christian community will be holding a prayer and a one minute silence at Holland St at 09:30 AM on September 26, 2009. The march will start at 10am and we will proceed to George Square. There will also be a prayer held and a one minute silence for the people who cannot make it at 09:30pm. If the people cannot make at Holland St they can make their own way to George Square.
