Shazia case: Where is CLAAS and Shahbaz Bhatti? Agnes Massey

Canada: February 16, 2010. (PCP) Agnes Massey, President, Pakistan Christian Congress Canadian Chapter have expressed anger and grave concern on situation of Shazia case.

12 years old Christian girl Shazia Bashir was murdered on January 22, 2010, in Lahore, by his Muslim employer, Mohammad Naeem Advocate. Accused Mohammad Naeem was arrested in torture and killing of Shazia Bashir but on February 13, 2010, Additional Session Judge granted his bail and confirmed bails of his wife, son and other relative. Shazia Bashir was working as housemaid in home of accused Mohammad Naeem since 2009, and brought to Jinnah Hospital on January 21, 2010 in critical conditions by accused. CLAAS was leading Shazia case which claims to provide legal aid assistance to Christian in Pakistan and is sitting in action committee formed by Asma Jahangir, Chairperson of Human Rights of Commission of Pakistan. Agnes Massey questions, Where is Asma Jahangir, Lawyer with her claims to be the top custodian of Human Rights? Where is CLAAS office ,claiming to be the custodians of Christians' rights in Pakistan? Where is Mr.Shahbaz Bhatti, Federal Minister for Minorities' affairs? Why he is silent or don't know how to use the power of his office? She said “These are the questions from 20 million Christians of Pakistan those caste their vote for the formation of Pakistan” President PCC Canadian Chapter urged that “President and Prime Minister should look into the matter and grant justice to poor parents”
