Pakistan Christian Congress demands JIT on lynching of Muslim terrorists by Christians

Karachi: March 25, 2015. (PCP) In a press note issued here today by Central Secretariat of Pakistan Christian Congress PCC that Joint Investigating Team JIT

may be announced on burning alive of suspected Muslim terrorists by Christian protestors on seeing them firing on Church gate of St. John’s in Youhanabad on March 15, 2015, when suicide bomber was trying to enter in church. The police have arrested more than 400 Christian men and women who are relatives whom Punjab government has nominated in FIR of lynching two Muslims suspects to be terrorists. The police is using stairs to jump walls in houses of Christians in Youhanabad to arrest Christian youth whom Punjab government have nominated in First Information Report FIR on lynching two Muslim men suspected to be accomplices of twin suicide bombers who blew themselves up in St. John’s Church and Christ Church on March 15, 2015, killing 17 Christian worshipers and injuring more than 80. Police is forcibly entering in homes of Christians in Youhanabad without any search warrants and arresting relatives and young adults of those nominated in FIR. The raiding police is harassing women and beating them if they protest on breaking of doors. The witnesses told Pakistan Christian Post that two suicide bombers had also two terrorists with them whom they saw firing on gate of St. John’s Church protecting suicide bomber who was also firing on security guards on gate to rush in side Church to kill all worshipers. Unfortunately guards blocked suicide bomber on which he blew himself up on gate and two terrorist ran away from scene while people caught them. To burn alive anyone weather he is Christian, Ahmadiyyia or Muslim is crime against humanity and must be punished. There should not be trend of state that if Muslim burns alive Christian or Ahmadiyyia individual then Muslim culprit should walk free and if any Christian burns alive Muslim then uproar may be heard in National Assembly of Pakistan and from Chief Minister of Punjab announce to use iron hands against culprits. Before filing of FIR against Christian on lynching Muslim terrorists, it was moral duty of Mian Shahbaz Sharif, Chief Minister of Punjab to form Joint Investigation Team JIT comprising of ISI, MI, IB, Police and CID to investigate that who were these two terrorists and why they were firing on Church and accompanying suicide bombers. It was also very important that when protestors handed them over to police why elite force handed them back to a group of protestors. Because the two victims were Muslims then Mian Shahbaz Sharif Chief Minister of Punjab not bothered to form JIT and ordered to file FIR. Moreover, he visited one lynched suspect’s terrorist home and vowed to punish culprits without confirmation or any enquiry that Hafiz Naeem was not a terrorist. Dr. Nazir S Bhatti President of Pakistan Christian Congress PCC has demanded formation of JIT to investigate whether two Muslim lynched by mob were terrorists or not and why police handed them over to protestors. Dr. Nazir Bhatti demanded Chief Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif, Chief Minister of Punjab and Ch. Nisar, Federal Interior Minister to reply on floor of House that what justice received Muslim culprits who burnt alive 8 Christian children, woman and elder man in Gojra in 2009 and 1200 hundred Muslim mob who burnt alive Christian couple in furnace of Kiln Brick Factory in Kot Radha Kishan. “Stop pushing Christians to wall to oppress them but ensure justice as equal citizen to them unless right actions will be launched” said PCC Chief Nazir Bhatti
