Christian’s representation in meeting with Mushraf before Summit not from Christian people.

President, Pakistan Christian Congress, Mr. Nazir S. Bhatti, in a press statement said that recent call or minority leaders before the Mushraf- Vajpayee summit is positive step to take minority community in confidence in the national issues of pakist

He regretted on those Christian religious leaders invitation in this meeting, who have been praising the military government since 1999 take over in Pakistan and on international forums to safe guard their personnel interests and true representation of Christians was not present in that important meeting. He said that church leadership is no more representative forum of Christian's social, economic and political issues after the elected Christians in national general election since 1985. He stressed upon taking the true social and political leadership in confidence on such national issues. Mr. Bhatti Demanded to raise the religious freedom issues of Christians in Pakistan and India during the Summit as the religious persecution in both countries have been more in this decade. He further added the recent invitation of government to minority leaders came after his editorial on Pakistan Christian post, which is the importance of christian media. He assured that Pakistan Christian Congress and Pakistan Christian Post should sacrifice for Christian rights by raising voice on Pakistan forums. Nazir S Bhatti, president PCC.
