The FIR of this incident was duly registered with Mahmood Abad Police station and relevant authorities were informed about this terrorist act and security was demanded by the Karachi Administration. The Christian leader, Younas S Khan Advocate, who is elected councilor of Karachi city and Chairman of Legal Committee of Karachi City Government, holds office of Bureau Chief of Pakistan Christian Post at Karachi and Media Director of Pakistan Christian Congress. The incident was also visited by the Mayor (Nazim) of Karachi City Government Nehmat Ullah Khan on Sunday morning on March 4,2003, who pressed upon the Mahmood Abad Police Station SHO to arrest the unidentified accused immediately and assurance was given for his protection. Up to this day Police have not made any arrests on the FIR and security have been not provided to Younas s Khan advocate and his family by the administration when his house was also stoned by the Muslim procession group during the Allied Forces attack on Afghanistan last year. Mr. Khan running a Free Legal Aid Committee to provide legal Aid to poor Christians in Karachi and well respected for his services to the local Churches as layman Mr. Younas S Khan's wife and children are not able to go for grocery in the nearby by areas due to fear of life.
