This Award will be given in Wilmington in the presence of Mrs.Gladys Stains the widow of Dr Graham Staines and the representatives of various Human Rights Organizations on 16th August at 12pm by Dr. Diana Barnes of State Department. The previous recipients of the award include the late Archbishop Alen De Lastic President of Catholic Bishops Conference of India and renowned crusader for communal harmony and human Rights activist Dr John Dayal and was given away at the United Nations. This year it is being given to Teesta Seltalvad , Editor of Communalism Comb and recognized Human Rights activist in South Asia. And Admiral L Ram Das former Chief of Indian Navy who has championed the cause of secular India and has been heroic promoter of religious harmony. This award gets tremendous media coverage and has come to be highly respected. Few hundred people are expected for the event.
