Philadelphia. May 3. The Christian League of Pakistan in USA based in Philadelphia held its oath ceremony on April 28, 2004 at 4900 East Street Road in Bensalem. The newly elected executive board members were sworn in by the chief guest Mr. Gene Gira
Mr. Stuart John, President, Mr. Anjum Bhatti, Senior VP, Mr. Uoel Paul, VP, Mr. Ivan Samson, General Secretary, Mr. Anwar Ul Haq, joint Secretary, Mr. Maqsood Ul Haq, Finance secretary and Mr. Saleem John, Programme secretary took oath in the ceremony organized by the Leaguers.
Speaking on this occasion Mr. Stuart John, President of CLP sought the cooperation of all and promised a new chapter of cooperation with other parties to promote the struggle to alleviate the suffering of the Christians in Pakistan.
Mr. Manzoor Alam, Chairman PACC, Mr. Earnest Gulab, President PACC, Mr. Irfan Khan, VP PACC, Mr. Anwar Siddique, Organizer PACC and Mr. Majeed Gill of PACC were among distinguished guests.
Mr. Parvez Allarakha, Chairman CLP reinforced cooperation with other parties in his welcome speech to the new office bearers and urged the need of common platform to be more effective and representing the interests of Pakistani Christians.
Mr. Joseph D’Giralmo, Mayor of Bensalem and Rev. Robert Shishine were guests of honors in the function.
