The Christian religious, social and political groups have strongly condemned the government of Pakistan on issuance of certificate to hate movie Tare Naam. This film, which is produced by prejudice Muslim, carries derogatory dialogues on Christian
Its on record that Film Censor Board of Pakistan have banned many English movies in past with Christian teachings for general viewers in Pakistan and censors dialogues from Hollywood rated R movies which may comment about Muslim society in general.
The Film Censor Board of Pakistan comprises of Muslim members only and Christians have no representation in board when Christians are 8% of the total population of Pakistan. If Christians have due representation in Film Censor Board then Film Tare Naam have not been certified for general viewers in Pakistan Christian bodies in Pakistan have termed Tare Namm a Shameless movie and demanded an immediate ban on film.
