Pakistan Christian Congress condemns assassination of Allama Rashid Turabi and demand justice


Philadelphia: July 14, 2006. Dr. Nazir S Bhatti, President, Pakistan Christian Congress and Editor, Pakistan Christian Post have strongly condemned killing of Allama Rashid Turabi in Karachi by suicide bomber.

Mr. Bhatti said that religious minorities are not safe in Pakistan and Allama Rashid Turabi is victim of government seeded Wahabi terror organizations in Pakistan. Dr. Bhatti said that I personally knew Allama who was peace lover and dedicated leader and his death news is end of peace in Pakistan and failure of administration. Mr. Bhatti said, " ISI trained all Wahabi organizations to wage war in Kashmir and Afghanistan but those organizations are also set free to attack on religious leaders of Christians and Shia communities in Pakistan" It is on record that Shia worshipers and Christian churches are attacked by Wahabi organizations under directions of ISI. Mr. Bhatti demanded an immediate action and arrest of killers of Allama Rashid Turabi.
