Holland, January 25, 2011. (Shumail P. report for PCP) Parvez Iqbal, President Pakistan Christian Congress Holland Chapters in his exclusive message to the Human Rights Unit for South Asia in EU and to the European Parliament as whole has thanked for first considering an appeal filed by PCC Holland Chapter on November 22, 2010 with regard to release and pulling out of Asia Bibi and in a follow up meeting with the Human Rights Unit for South Asian Counter in EU Parliament on January 19, 2011.
After successful discussion in the meeting of PCC Holland Chapter en Human Right Unit in EU on January 19, 2011 there was a strong hope that Pakistani Government will be asked for safe release of Asia Bibi, Repeal / amendments in Blasphemy Laws as well situation of Pakistani asylum seekers in EU countries will be dealt in the light of present situation of Pakistan and circumstances of their asylum request.
Mr. Parvez Iqbal, President Holland Chapter, in continuation of Welcome Note of Mr. Nazir Bhatti, President Pakistan Congress and PCC's Central Committee with regard to EU resolution in the matter had cordially thanked the EU parliament for taking fastest and in time initiative according to situation of Pakistani Christians and misuse of Blasphemy Laws in in Pakistan. We are sure positive outcomes will be seen in near future said Mr. Iqbal.
