TO MOTHER. Poem by Dr. Stephen gill on Mother’s day

Image

Years have gone by Still I see your tearful eyes And hear your painful voice. When dawn is dimmed

amidst dull and deep clouds
and shroud is spread
on my despair
your name emanates
in pleasing shapes.

Image of sacrifice
message of hope
you are highly prized.
This life and pleasure
I owe to you.

A blind boy in the alley
I roam for your loving care.

I wish you were alive
mother dear.
