India should take serious notice (of https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_rPsp4IY7Kc ) that Jamaat-e-Islami leader not only issued threats from New York about Gazhwa-e-Hind but he also said that they will erase the stain of 1971 which means that Pakistan (already having Army Chief Gen. Munir supporting two nation theory as reported at https://www.newindianexpress.com/world/2025/Apr/26/pak-army-chief-gen-munir-highlights-two-nation-theory-again-2 ) supported Jamaat-e-Islami ( as revealed at https://www.firstpost.com/explainers/what-is-jamaat-e-islami-the-pakistan-backed-group-that-fuelled-the-bangladesh-crisis-13802285.html ) may try for the re-unification of Pakistan (which was dismembered in 1971 which resulted in the independence of Bangladesh with the military support of India). Moreover Mohd. Yunus ( head of interim government of Bangladesh who is dreaming of taking North-East from India as https://www.indiatoday.in/world/story/bangladesh-muhammad-yunus-indias-northeast-states-seven-sisters-bid-to-lure-chinese-investments-xi-jinping-2701830-2025-03-31 ) has not condemned or censored or punished the Jamaat-e-Islami leader for threatening India with Gazhwa-e-Hind from the soil of the USA.
The said dream of Jamaat-e-Islami of the re-unification of Pakistan is not far-fetched as it may look to some in India (especially to Hindutva forces which are inclined to be in denial mode on this matter as given at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WuvDcR7dihA ) rather Jamaat-e-Islami can almost easily come to power if (in the present situation) elections are held in Bangladesh in which Jamaat-e-Islami supported political parties can even declare in their election manifestos (which will be construed by the world community as tantamount to referendum for the re-unification of Pakistan) that once in power they will work (including by suitable amendment in the Constitution of Bangladesh) for the re-unification of Islamic republic of Pakistan (having West & East Pakistan in it as was before 1971).
In this re-unification drive Pakistan can garner the support of not only China (the traditional enemy of India which will be glad to humiliate India on this count) and Muslim world which has become closer to Pakistan after Saudi Arabia - Pakistan Mutual defense agreement (as reported at https://edition.cnn.com/2025/09/17/middleeast/saudi-arabia-pakistan-defense-pact-intl-hnk ) but may even get a tacit approval of the USA where (presently not so friendly to India as https://www.foreignaffairs.com/india/shocking-rift-between-india-and-united-states ) Trump-administration didn’t take any action against Jamaat-e-Islami leader though he issued threat of Gazhwa-e-Hind from the soil of the USA (New York) against a friendly country India and may be also due the reason that the USA was against India and in support of Pakistan (when the USA sent 7th fleet in Bay of Bengal) during 1971 war but faced the humiliation that the USA couldn’t stop the dismemberment of Pakistan.
It doesn’t require a genius of political science to understand that if the re-unification of Pakistan gets support, open or tacit, from China, Muslim world and the USA then India will not be able to stop it and which will be a nightmare for India for foreseeable future from the strategic point of view hence India should be careful not to stoke grievances in Muslims of INdia (as revealed at https://www.msn.com/en-in/news/India/what-is-i-love-muhammad-row-and-why-did-it-spark-protests-across-india/ar-AA1N3Ntd?ocid=BingNewsSerp ) who have already been complaing that under the government of Hindutva forces (comprising mainly of the Hindus or the so-called Sanatanis) led by PM Modi since 2014 anti-Muslim nationalism is being promoted in India (as mentioned at https://edition.cnn.com/2024/04/30/india/india-elections-varanasi-hindu-muslim-tensions-intl-hnk-dst and https://jmhorizons.com/index.php/journal/article/view/176 ).
India can preempt such project of Gazhwa-e-Hind & re-unification of Pakistan only if India without any further delay (before the said sort of referendum happens in Bangladesh for the re-unification of Pakistan) constrains Sheikh Hasina to establish her government in exile in India and then immediately after that install Sheikh Hasina’s government in Dhaka with the military help of India as mentioned at https://www.pakistanchristianpost.com/public/exclusive-reports-details/336 .
Therefore India needs to wake up and work intelligently & effectively against the possibility of the re-unification of Pakistan which, if allowed to happen, will hurt India & India loving people (in or out of India) to the core.
